Z-ZERO

Z-Zero is the student Capstone project I created at Full Sail University. This project allowed me to create a game from concept to completion and publish.

Z-Zero places the player in control of an alien drone that is part of a Hive-mind creature. The player must explore a pharmaceutical research and production space station in an attempt to escape from the scientists and expand the hive. 

Z-zero is a 3D side-scroller built in the Unity game engine. 

PROJECT ROLE

During this five month long project I took the roles of Producer, Lead Level Designer, Lead Combat Designer, Lead Programmer, and Lead Animator. I created six of the eleven game play levels as well as all of the menus in the game. I created the UI/UX, main menu, pause menu, and credits. I provided all of the textures and materials for the game. I programmed the majority of the game excluding enemy AI and boss scripts.
